This is a video Eric took at Emma's 3rd-4th Grade music program. The theme was "Jungle Cruise" and it was kind of cute. Emma was one of the "Skippers" and she did a great job on the delivery of her joke. . . something about monkeys and bananas. You'll have to ask her . . . Anyway, this was my favorite part of the show. You will not be able to see the kids, but Emma and the other 4th graders did a fabulous job with the song "Fireflies". Enjoy it!
Okay, no one will be hiring Eric to film an event anytime soon, but you get the picture.

| Katy playing at Festival. It is a yearly music program that highlights the individual player. No video this time, as she started her song so quickly that I did not have time to turn on the camera. Suffice it to say, she was great. The judge asked her if she was taking private lessons! (Apparently that is a compliment.) She wishes she was, though, but between the cost and time commitment, she'll just have to keep wowing them with her public school band instruction! As Katy likes to say, "band geeks rock!!" We are heading south for a week of sunshine and family fun! By the time we leave on Saturday, Eric will have worked 10 days straight. He is really, really, really looking forward to this vacation.
