Rolling Thunder Students-of-the-Month: The Rolling Thunder Team would like to congratulate our December Students-of-the-Month:  Trent K., Katy H., Devin H., Zoe H., and Madi T.  You all have shown respect, teamwork, and give your best everyday.  Keep it up with your Thunder Power!!  Congratulations!"

These are part of the announcements that were broadcast throughout the school earlier today, during second period!  Katy was not entirely sure it was her name that was called, as the young lady reading the notes pronounced "Katy H." as "Catty H."!  Her sixth period teacher assured Katy that it was indeed her name that was called.  Sometime next week, Katy and the other students will join their team teachers for an off-campus snack at a local coffee shop.  We are more proud of her than she is---I think she was a bit embarrassed by it all.  She is looking forward to the outing, though.
